This policy describes how GoPuppy (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use our iOS application and this website. Please review it alongside any disclosures shown in the app and on the App Store.

Information we collect in the app

Account and app data. You may enter profile and training-related information (for example, your dog’s name, preferences, or training progress). This data is stored on your device and in services we use to sync and back up your account.

Notifications. If you enable reminders, the system may store schedule information locally and use Apple’s notification services to deliver alerts. You can turn reminders off in the app or in system Settings.

Analytics and diagnostics. We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand aggregate app usage and diagnose crashes. These services may collect device and usage data as described in Google’s documentation.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Information we collect on this website

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic: which pages are read, and whether they lead people to the App Store. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored and no analytics identifiers are sent.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which makes the consent banner appear again.

We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not sell personal information.

The Android waitlist

If you give us your email address on the Android page, we store it for one purpose: to send you a single email on the day the Android app is released. We also store which page you signed up from, the country your request came from, and the date, so we can tell how much demand there is and where it comes from.

We will not add you to a newsletter, send you anything else, or share or sell your address. The list is stored in our own Cloudflare database, not with a marketing provider. Ask us at the address above and we will delete your entry. No questions, no confirmation loop.

How we use information

To provide and improve the app, support users, analyse aggregate usage, and comply with applicable law.

Sharing

We use service providers (including Google Firebase, Google Analytics, RevenueCat and Cloudflare) that process data on our behalf under their terms and privacy policies.

Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the app and for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving support issues or meeting legal obligations. You may delete app data by removing the app from your device, subject to any cloud backup or account data retained by our providers as described in their policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain data. Contact us at the email above. You may also adjust tracking where Apple’s system prompts allow.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Do not provide personal information about children without appropriate consent.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the app or this website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
